I never once thought my life would take a turn for the better once I was layed off from Ameristar. That was before I found a hole in the wall bar in need of my specific set of skills. Walking into this bar I thought to my self that this would only be temporary until something better came along. Again, this was before my first night shift.
My first shift went very well without a problem to speak of. I was hooked. Technically I had never been a bar tender, but I have been using mixology for years just under a different title. So the sole responsibility of only making drinks is fabulous. It frees me to make money that I should be making, frees me to make connections with the right people, frees me to meet new people. So folks I think its safe to say that, I love my Job!
